I already had a Mr Coffee maker 12 cup. It had stains on its bottom and on the element where the pitcher rested. I was unable to clean it to my satisfaction so ordered this one. When I opened it and saw the place where the pitcher rested was black covered area, I was ready to use it to make my tea. Tea was good after mixing with water and sweetener.

They are a little ‘softer and more pliable’ than the older versions, but they work just fine and are still safe for the dishwasher top shelf. Mine was missing a cover, a small 1/2 cup cover, but not worth the hassle of returning the entire sent and grabbing a new on: which might also be missing a cover, or more!!!

I buy one of these sets every year for me and for my cousin at Christmas. We both get rid of the old ones from last year that are in not so great shape and replace with the new set to start the year fresh. We both love this storage set. Lots of variety, nice looking, great protection for food or other items, and microwaveable. I will keep purchasing them.

I got these for half-off, so they were a great deal. There is a good assortment of sizes which is helpful for storing leftovers. The material seems durable enough for the price. I’m happy with this set and would buy them again. It might be nice to have a different color lid than red. Maybe blue?

These small containers are highly recommended for leftover storage. They do not leak unless you forcefully drop them. Great for freezing. I use mine daily. I’m trying not to use plastic in the microwave, but they do well in the microwave. The lids store nicely on top of the bowl. I will buy them again.

You can store them in a drawer easily if stacked nicely . As far as sturdiness , it’s sealed better than dollar store plastic containers without a heavy price . My leftovers in the fridge are good for the week. Even strong enough to handle my dishwasher. Doesn’t melt in my microwave (over 1000 watts)

The Rubbermaid plastic food storage set is meant as a Christmas gift for one of my adult nephews.
Rubbermaid products have been around for a long time even before something like Tupperware was invented.
It’s the kind my mother would’ve used.
