Well, I was able to find 2 of them. Google TV is a bit cumbersome to program it the way you want so you have to scramble on installing things from USB, connecting with accounts etc. Most of the “questionable” apps work and, yes, you can install third party app stores. VPN works real good and The ONN mouse connects via Bluetooth without problems (for when you need it) Wolf launcher, will work well (I put it as first icon) Expect to spend hours of hit and miss but at the end 90 per cent of what you want, you will get. If you are a P$rite, you can sail the Internet with full sail while being protected by your trusted VPN. $50 well spent.

Our home has 4 firestick 4k streamers. Even though they claim to have 8gb, their operating system and amazon uninstall able programs use the majority. My programs were constantly being offloaded. Yes the UI was smooth and dependable , but the lack of storage was the proverbial straw. The Onn. is just as smooth and “snappy” and literally contains no bloatware. Remote is solid and audio and video are superb. The 3.0 usb is a huge bonus as I can attach an additional drive for either storage or to view pictures or video. The wireless signal is also vastly superior to the firesticks. I am getting almost 100mbs more speed with the Onn.. In my opinion it’s a winner. I will be replacing all my firesticks over the next few months.

its another android box and its works and its up to date. so far i like it BUT the biggest disappointment is that they continue to use x32bit OS when the specs does support x64bit OS. that’s not the great really, if the spec support only x32 then use x32bit BUT if the specs support x64bit OS, then there’s absolutely not reason to use anything else but x64bit OS.

I have a Samsung TV with Google and Xfinity, so I never really felt a need of a TV streaming box.
Setting up of onn Google TV 4K Pro Streaming Device was fairly easy. It came with all the necessary connection cables, and even batteries for the remote. I had to get my own ethernet wire to connect the internet, which was not a big deal.
I was able to add all my subscriptions in one place. Prior to using this, there was always a lag in Max and Tubi channels. Now those channels play smoothly. The Hey Google and find your remote functions are also neat. BTW, you can turn-off the Google voice function by a convenient switch on the device. There are many free movies and shows too. The picture quality is clear.
The price seems to be right for all the features it offers.
I am not exactly a fan of this remote. It runs so fast that entering passwords is a nightmare.
Overall, I am happy to have it, but unsure if I am going to miss it with my Xfinity voice command remote and Google TV.

It’s a top device. However, it has some limitations. It lacks a dedicated play/pause button, just like the Google Chromecast With Google TV. The button mapper can remap any of the uneeded buttons on the remote to be a play/pause button. However, that is slow. The android operating system has to convert the code produced by the remote to the desired functionality. Another problem that encountered is the dependence on the Google assistant. I’d rather search directly in the Google play app. that app is hidden. I had to sideload a launcher app to allow me to see the Google play app. Otherwise, it’s a superb device.

No frills, very well executed streaming device. No input lag or stuttering, which is unfortunately more than I can say about most “smart” TVs these days. Good playback and clean UI. The only other streamer that I’ve used that bests this one is the Nvidia Shield, that one costs 4x as much. Well done Walmart.

I want to love this device, but just can’t. I have been using it for almost a full month now and have routinrlt encountered an issue wkth the audio dropping out momentarily and then coming back on in multiple streaming apps. For Amazon and Netflix, it happens every time now. usually it is only for the first 5-10 minutes, but noe with Netflix its doing it for a full show. i would like to point out that, if I use a different streaming device, such as a Roku or Xbox Series X, I have none of these issues using an identical setup and inputs.
Additionally, I’ve found that the new Fandango (prev Vudu) app for Google TV does not support playback in 4K with Atmos, even though that is what I own and the same app for other devices supports it (as well as MoviesAnywhere, even on Google TV—but not all movies are MA supported).
Really disappointed that I can’t return this, as I didn’t hold onto the packaging, but I will definitely be using the warranty. I’d like to think these things can be fixed with updates, but who knkws how long that will take. Could ve a brilliant device, but too many pain points for me right now.

I have been using Am@zon 4K HD Firestick for all my streaming via IPTV. Experienced lot of buffering issues. Couldn’t confirm if it was IPTV provider or ISP. Well, it was the Firestick, not fast enough due to hardware. This ONN 4K Pro is a Firestick Killer. Due to quad core cpu and gpu, ethernet interface, unbelievably faster. So slow updates and buffering due to Firestick limitation. The only other option is the Nvidia Sheild, and it is much more expensive. Loaded all my Firestick apps like Amazon Prime, Music and Netflix plus sideloaded non-Google Play apps as well. Now I get Google TV. Both are similar layouts. Ethernet shows 180 Mbps download speed as well. Do yourself a favor, ditch the stick and get this Android streamer. Well worth the upgrade.

WALMART sold me a “returned” unit instead of a “new” one. I should have known. There was no cellophane wrapping, the cords were just wound back by hand with no twisties…and get this…the batteries were still in the remote! Anyway, I had brought it home so what could I do? It was an Internet order picked up in a bag. I should have opened the bag and checked it right then in the parking lot. Live and learn. Thanks WALMART.

Most smart TVs are notorious for poor/sluggish OS performance. This was a bit snappier and playback performance was great. But in the end, I had to return the device due to connectivity and remote issues.
Wifi dropped almost every day, and the device had to be rebooted before it would go back online.
The customizable remote button was not able to change inputs on my Amazon Fire 4-series TV. Over half of the buttons were mostly useless to me, and theres no pause button. Seriously, no pause button. Unbelievable. FWIW, I really liked the feel of the remote, and the backlight was nice, though it would be nicer if it endured for a couple more seconds. You gotta love a customizable button even if it didnt do what I needed.
I wanted to like this device and was disappointed to have to return it.
