I recently bought the Hanes Men’s EcoSmart Fleece Hoodie Sweatshirt and overall, it’s a great option, but I’ve given it 4 stars because it wasn’t as thick as I had anticipated.
Comfort & Fit
Soft and cozy: The fleece material is soft against the skin, making it very comfortable for everyday wear. It feels warm but not heavy, perfect for casual lounging or layering.
Good fit: The sizing was accurate, and it fits well without being too tight or loose.
Quality & Durability
Not as thick: It’s lighter than I expected. While it’s still a nice hoodie, I was hoping for a more substantial feel to the fabric.
Thins out after washing: After a couple of washes, the fabric tends to thin out a bit, which affects its overall warmth. However, it’s still wearable.
Final Thoughts
The Hanes EcoSmart Fleece Hoodie is a solid choice for comfort and casual wear, but it may not be as durable or thick as some may prefer. It’s great for warmer days but not the best if you need something more substantial.

I loved how it feels on the skin, the softness of the material, and its functionality in keeping you warm since it’s fleece-lined. I ordered a medium-sized one, one size larger than my usual, because I wanted an oversized hoodie to use at home to feel cozy. It looked durable, but the cloth was not as thick as I wanted it to, as you can expect from the price. The only thing I disliked about this hoodie is the color. I ordered Ash and it was too light than what was in the photos. It’s more on the white side than gray. But overall, it’s good for its price.
