Just places these lights in my outdoor flower pot and they already light up! The solar base is a little on the large side as other reviewers have said but wasn’t a concern for me. I wish the stems were more flexible so that I could easily weave them around my plants, but the lights overall are very lovely.

After having been charged in the sun for over eight hours each day, they fade and turn off within two to three hours every night. I have other “fairy lights” from Amazon. They look exactly the same and are over a year old. They stay on almost all night long…same charging conditions.

Product is not expensive. It is fragile and the long stems break easily. They do not shine brightly after a week in my garden with full sun. They are pretty in the evenings only for about half an hour.
