This is the size I was looking for, however it only has three “legs” (for lack of a better term), and tends to tip when using it. It’s fine when it is cooking, but to take food out, put food in, or shift it on the counter, it will tip. It also feels too light to last long.

I wish I could review the crock pot, but Walmart delivered a package that looks like it was run over by a truck. They had the gall to put a note on it saying that if it’s damaged, to return it. THEY COULDN’T CHECK IT BEFORE SHIPPING THIS JUNK TO ME??? And YES, the whole side of the crock pot is caved in and the knob won’t stay on! The damage can easily seen just by opening the box. It doesn’t even have to be removed from the packaging to see it! I have very limited transportation, and now I have to arrange to get a ride to the store to get my money back. Limited transportation is why I had it shipped to me to begin with! If they’d taken 10 seconds to open the box and look inside, it would’ve saved me over an hour of time returning it, not to mention spending another hour to go to another store and hopefully find another one. This is absolutely unacceptable.

It came dented perfectly wrapped in its box . The box was in great condition. No sign of being mishandled. I used it anyway because I was making meatballs for our high school concession stand. I just didn’t have time to return it get a new one. It worked great though for 72 meatballs sauce.

First…i really wish ratings allowed for half stars became I’d go for 3.5 if it were an option.
Good stuff: It works fine, heats up well, and clean up is easy. i cooked a cornish hen and it was so tender that the meat literally fell off the bones.
Middle stuff: The 4 quart capacity is just right when cooking for a SINGLE person (or maybe 2 people, depending on what you’re making), but absolutely NOT for a family. Also, the lid is not a tight fit, but that probably only matters if you plan to tranport it (potluck party?).
Bad stuff: The cord is ridiculously, stupidly, senselessly SHORT. i had to rearrange my entire counter to use it.
Overall: If you’re a single person (especially one who doesn’t like to cook) this is probably a good bet. I’m not sad that i bought it, and if it weren’t for the cord issue, i would have gone for a higher rating.

I get it…$20.00 for a crock pot and you are going to get what you pay for. This particular one has, what seems to be, a metal band around the top and let me tell you it get super hot. It even burnt my finger, like aloe vera burnt my finger.
I would recommend monitoring this crock pot when you are home and not leaving it on when gone.
Also, the lid was very loose. But you get what you pay for.

This crockpot was a great deal. I would not recommend it for any use other than on a warm setting. It gets dangerously hot all over!!! I set it on low one morning and by the afternoon my meal was burnt beyond recognition
I can’t stress enough that it is not safe! The outside of the pot was equally as hot as the inside. I had high hopes as it was the perfect size for two. A simple design as well but nope it isn’t safe.

I purchased this and it worked really well. I was putting it in the fridge with the lid on. The lid hit a shelf, couldn’t have been very hard, yet it shattered straight into my food and all over the place. I’d look for another one. I’ve owned crockpots in the past that lasted years, without the lids ever breaking.

Being oval and not heavily weighted on bottom it can tip easily.
Stuff really sticks to it. I’ve had trouble scrubbing off a few bits.
As far as actual cooking, it does fine.
Ive made stew and chili and they came out good.
I will just get a round, one bottom weighted one next time.

It doesn’t get hot enough I’ve had some in the past that get very hot I can leave it on high for hours and I can touch the water and nothing my coffee pot gets hotter then this thing.

christmas present used twice. first time ok, second time was as if heating element wouldnt work effectively. 6 1/2 hours on high and soup broth never came to simmer. 9 hours later we had our soup. i returned and repurchased….thinking maybe the first one was defective. giving it another try. never had a crockpot take so long to cook on high, especially since it was chicken broth with ground chicken and vegies(frozen vegies precooked in microwave).
