i have a one year old and we decided to make our own special tradition by baking cookies and he loved it, they were so easy to use and he really enjoys carrying them around in the container and practicing his fine motor skills by opening and closing the latches

This is the worst book I ever bought for a toddler. This story is creepy and scary. I can’t believe anyone could find this story appropriate for young children. I’m returning immediately. Do yourself a favor and read the other one star reviews.

EXCELLENT book!!! I’ve been reading this to my children for well over 20 years now and it’s an instant classic. If you can get though it without crying you’re rare or don’t have feelings. Really makes both child and parent think and is quite sad really. But a terrific book. You won’t regret buying it.

This book is so wonderful to read to your children! I even used the repeated “I’ll love you forever” lines as a lullaby! So precious! I share this book with anyone who has a new baby but doesn’t have this book yet!

I’ve loved this book since my children were little, then my grandchildren. This copy was for my first great grandson. The kids always liked singing along to the little song. It’s so important to share the love of reading with children.

I love the book and it was in great condition. My complaint is that they stuck that huge shipping sticker right in the middle of the front cover. It was a gift for my new granddaughter and it took forever to get it off and there was residue left on it.

this book means so much to me and my daughter. in fact in 5th grade she got up on her stage at school and recited the book verbatim without even looking at it for her presentation! she loves it that much! I lost the first one and had to purchase this one! she is now 31 years old!

This is my favorite book of all time for baby shower gifts! I have read this book to my children (who know it by heart) and to my grandchildren. I cried the first time I read it because the books message of unconditional love was so moving!
