Bought this to go under a shelf lighting up the pegboard on a workbench I made. It installed easy, but that’s about as far as the good goes. The lights started to flicker on and off if the power cord was touched the first day. I would take a picture of how dim these lights are but now around a month later they dont even work. The remote randomly stopped working very shortly after the lights started flickering. I obviously dont use them anymore.

I initially was planning to purchase another floor lamp but I didn’t want anything that would take up extra space in our living room. This LED lights strip was such a life saver – much cheaper, no extra space needed, and it’s super bright! I was pleasantly surprise how bright it was, and the remote control works like magic.
The only reason I gave three stars on adhesion is because I had to do a bit of extra work. I saw some people talked about the adhesion, so I ensured that the wall areas were well cleaned before I attached the strip. But some parts were still not staying on the wall, so I added transparent tape to the top of strip. It was not a lot of work though, and I’m still very happy about this lights strip. It definitely makes a huge difference in our living room.

I rarely give/write reviews. We have all bought the cheap LED stuff, and been disappointed.
I will give a succinct review. For once, the manufacturers stated specs were conservative. I’m frankly amazed at the performance of this product. Simply read the description of this product, and it’s accurate. ( I build a lot of LED stuff, including my own flashlights, and I have never been this impressed with an LED product. )
I can’t comment on the adhesive, I have never had any work effectively. I used this product under a display shelf, and fastened it securely in anticipation of the adhesive not working. ( I’ve never seen ANYBODY’S work effectively)
To reiterate, read the description, it’s DEAD ON in every aspect. Kelvin temp, Lumens output, remote control, everything.
( Not sure what the SOS mode is about. If for example you fall down, and no one else is in the house, I don’t think the SOS mode of your blinking display shelf is going to save you. Might look good over a model of the Titanic….)
I supplied two pictures. The first is the 10% mode, and the second is the 100% mode. I took pictures of every mode, but digital cameras correct for lighting, so you won’t see a difference. Note the two modes I provided don’t look that different, but the stand in front of ’em reality makes a huge difference.
( Which is why I love to see images of LED lights in photos. You can rarely believe them. They usually look like the surface of the Sun )
I’m hesitant to leave a comment at this time, because the next area of concern is longevity. I’ve only been using these things for a couple of days. If they last a year, I’ll be extremely happy.
I will be purchasing more of this item. Very impressive.

[edit to update] – after having these for a couple weeks, I’m still very happy with the light quality, and the install holds up well. My only real complaint is the shortness of the on-time when activated by the motion sensor. I wish there was a way to adjust that, as it only lasts for about 30 seconds, which is too quick. The remote control has all kinds of adjustments, but not for the duration of on-time when activated via sensor (that I can tell at least)

Got on overstock price for a crazy-low price, so bought a 10-pack after so pleased with my first one.
he light quality and color/temperature is quite good. The tape adhesion is meh semi-OK, but the included stickers adhesion is very very good, so just use those. Beware though. When first powered on they have both the motion sensor and the low-light activation sensors active. Meaning if you turn off the low-light sensor, which you will if this is for a closet or such; then you will have to save the remote control and redo that, ever time there is a power outage. Otherwise they will default to both motion and light sensors, and so not come on if it detects much background light on the sensor. In practice not a big deal, as most of the time it’s dark in such places anyway – just be aware. the motion detection is decent, but very much close range and the cone isn’t huge, but it works and with a little aiming, is just fine.
A shame, it would have been nice if it remembered it’s settings during power-cycles.

This was the easiest install. And they look great. Just make sure you clean the surface you are adhering to before you place it. They have multiple brightness. These work great. I have a good size kitchen and only had to buy 2 of these and take up 2 outlets for the plugs. I’m an experienced DIY and I would definitely recommend even if you are not experienced.

I didn’t know if this would be worthwhile or a throw away but ends up they are great! I needed more light under a kitchen counter where the old lights (wired) burned out and i can’t buy the type of replacement bulb. This was, I thought an interim fix. They are so easy to install, can go around corners, easily hid, but best of all, they give really good light. Better than I expected. There are many functions on the remote that I will likely not use but having both a remote and a switch makes it very convenient. The adhesion is very good. Many connectors come with the package if you are wanting to do more than a straight run. I recommend this product if you are looking for an easy and functional DIY light source.

Super strong adhesive, super bright light (lights up the entire kitchen from just under the cabinets) and comfortable dim – LOVE how one remote controls multiple lighting strips. I’m trying to find something to be critical of to balance this happy review, but haven’t found anything worthy of mentioning. I’ve added a strip under the bed frame, which just POPS the bed out in a display of subdued lighting which is both understated while impossible to not to notice (especially in the night-light mode with no other lights on in the room). I’m really, really happy with the results and ease of installation and will be getting more for my bookshelves. This is one of those purchases that really works out in real life just as you imagine you hope it will in your pre-order imagination.

Ppl love to complain when something from China doesn’t work. I’m here to tell ya, these lights are stellar. I’ll be ordering more!! Exactly as advertised, motion detector works, and the lights are gorgeous. I live in a dark row house…I need these everywhere!!

Love how it brightened up my cabinets and kitchen (see before and after pics.) Took me just 10 minutes to install and connect to Alexa. I recommended this to a friend and he purchased them the next day and loves them just as much as I do. This may be one of my favorite buys on Amazon! What a cost savings over standard cabinet lights which may require an electrician.
