After struggling with caliper style openers for years and having tried so many other types including gas cartridge type, this opener set works better than any we have tried to date. Very quiet and seems to pull even the most stubborn corks with ease. Even the included foil cutter works well. The set includes a pouring spout that also aerates as it pours. Not the same as decanting but still very effective for a single glass.
