This toaster arrived with the yoastet lever cracked off and broken. I feel I deserve a refund of the cost of $10.58. But now you expect me to send it back. I have no car to drive it anywhere to return. I should get a refund. It was stated “refund only” because there was no more in stock. PLEASE GIVE ME A REFUND.

We used to have a toaster oven that took up a lot of space on our kitchen counter. After we purchased a good air fryer we noticed we rarely used the toaster oven anymore, and we decided to get rid of it. Instead we wanted to find a simple, basic toaster to toast bread when needed. We wanted something small to free up counter space or even be able to leave it in a cabinet and pull it out when necessary.
This toaster fit the bill perfectly! It’s simple, straightforward, compact, and toasts bread evenly. We’re not toasting anything more than sliced sandwich bread in our house, so I can’t speak to bagels or thicker breads. For our needs, it is fantastic and small enough that we just push it against the wall when we’re not using it and pull it forward when we are.
The crumb tray is easy access, and I like the dial for adjusting the level of toastiness (is that a word?). If you just want a basic toaster for toasted bread a couple of times a week, I couldn’t recommend it more.

I think this product is great. The toaster is super cute and very sleek. It is a great size for storage but is very effective in toasting evenly and not causing burns. I think it works great for its size and is powerful enough to get the job done. I like the very simple design and it is very user friendly. It is so easy to clean out crumbs. The only things I think would make this product is better would be to make the opening slightly bigger or making the insert slightly deeper. While some bread does not totally fit in, it still gets completely toasted. The only other change would to make the outer coating better for grip as it can easily slip out of my hands when I am lifting it.

Overall satisfied with this toaster. Setup is extremely easy-open the box and plug it in. Simple to use dial to set the doneness of your toast. It did take a few tries to figure out my desired setting. The cleaning tray slides out for easy cleaning. Good, basic toaster.

Unfortunately, I can’t give an honest review of the toaster because it doesn’t work. When I unpacked the toaster I noticed that the knob to push the lever down was not on the toaster. I checked the box and it was in there. I was able to push it back on thinking it wouldn’t affect the toaster. I was wrong. The lever does not stay down. I even tried holding it down to toast some bread and the toaster doesn’t even heat up. Nothing at all happens. I’ve used/bought Mainstays products in the past and never had any
issues. This was just bad luck receiving a defective product.

This toaster is great. I live the matte finish. It fits bagels perfectly as well as toast. The small non allowed for the perfect amount a cooking time from light to darker. It’s compact size also works wonderful in my RV. Appears to be made well with good quality products. I would recommend this toaster to everyone.

I recently received the MAINSTAYS 2 Slice Toaster and absolutely love it. Before this toaster I was mainly heating up bread in my oven which would take up to 10 minutes. This toaster is a lifesaver. It cuts down my prep time to under 5 minutes. I can’t recommend this toaster enough. I also love that its small and compact and doesn’t take up too much space on my kitchen countertop.

When I first got this I was surprised by how lightweight it was. The look is very modern – clean lines, nice. The crumb tray slides in and out easily. There’s a place to wrap the cord around below – I had to do this a few times. It goes around the first time easily, but is difficult to go further. The dial is easy to use. You do have to remember if you want to end the cycle early you do not push the handle up, but turn the dial back to ‘0’. This is perfect for a collage student or a single person. It’s fairly simple, but does exactly what you need – toasts bread. (It’s actually a little darker in person then in my picture)

I love the color of this Mainstays two slice toaster. It works great I definitely like that the tray on the bottom for any crumbs just slides out so it is a lot better than the other toaster where you just pull it down. It toasted my bread perfectly, just the way I like it. Definitely interested in seeing if they have some more small appliances in this color.

No matter what “toast darkness” number I put it on it burns my toast I will be sending it back I shouldn’t have to pay to ship it back. I keep the toast from burning is to watch it and unplug it so it pops up! I’m so disappointed!!
