I have always used some type of toner AFTER removing my makeup to get the last bits out of my pores. This stuff works just like plain water. I have a clean pad after I use it, but, with my usual brand I see makeup that has been missed. Some reviewers indicated they just use it 1st to take off their makeup. In that case, yes, I’m sure they see lots of makeup on the pad. Which would also happen if you used just plain water. I found it a waste of money and do not recommend it.

I bought this product as it was advertised it would remove waterproof mascara and the short answer is no it does not. It took a little of it off but I was still left with a great about of mascara on my lashes and under my eyes, so if you want this product to remove your waterproof mascara then I would keep looking as this is not the product you are looking for!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Iv been using the micellar water and reusable cotton pads for a week now and wow it’s incredible.
The past week iv used waterproof eyeliner and mascara as well as glitter eyeshadows which usually would be a pain to wash off but with this miscellar water and reusable pads I only need one pad and can remove every spec of makeup in site. I have even recommended it to friends and other family members as it’s worked so well. My skin has never felt better or looked as good as it has since using this too. I usually have very sensitive skin to certain products but wow not one reaction it felt amazing smells amazing and is just all round a 10/10 product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a gentle cleanser. It removes all make-up easily and it made my skin feel nice and clean and hydrated. Even if you are not someone who uses make-up, it is good as a cleanser for the skin in general. Definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water to trial and found it to be a decent product but not one I would repurchase. It did remove make up well, however I found I needed to use quite a few cotton pads to effectively remove all my make up. Perhaps a cleansing cloth would be the way to go when using this product so it doesn’t end up being so wasteful. It felt nice on my skin and I didn’t have any adverse effects or reactions from using it a part from a tiny bit of dryness around my mouth and nose. I did find that I felt I needed to rinse my face after using it when it is meant to be a no rinse product. All in all it was just ok.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the start I’ve always used the sensitive skin range, even though my skin is not overly sensitive. But, it works great! It doesn’t sting or dry my skin, and most importantly, it cleans my face thoroughly. A little goes a long way. I just pour a little of it out onto a cotton pad, press it against say my eyelid to remove waterproof eye makeup for a minute and a little bit more rubbing and make-up is off.
I use this every single day to remove my make up before cleansing (according to the ad you can skip this step as using Micellar is equivalent to cleansing – but I still cleanse due to habit and love that post cleanse feeling).
Certainly a keeper in my regime!

This is an effective, relatively clean makeup remover at a good price. There is no overpowering scent and it thoroughly removes makeup, including waterproof (with just a little more effort). It would be great if you could remove the cap to fill small bottles for travel but you risk destroying the bottle if you attempt this. It’s always in my medicine cabinet tho. A favorite.
